The second annual Southern Style Now Festival and Showhouse is just a few short weeks away, and we’re thrilled to be part of this exciting event celebrating Southern design. The design event will take place November 9-12 in the quintessential southern city of historic Savannah. We can’t wait to see what the twenty-three A-list designers have imagined and created for the 1854 Greek Revival home in the midst of Savannah’s Landmark Historic District. Crossville tile will be featured throughout, and we’re looking forward to seeing the final reveals in November. Meanwhile, here’s a sneak peek of some of what’s in store at the Traditional Home designer showhouse in Savannah.
A nationally-acclaimed interior designer, Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design in Charlotte, NC is known for creating traditional interiors with a modern vibe for clients throughout the Southeast and beyond. For the showhouse, Lisa leverages our Laminam I Naturali in Calacatta d’ Oro for a stunning presentation in the kitchen.
Dallas designer Denise McGaha, principal and owner of Denise McGaha Interiors, delivers fashionable, diverse, and adventurous designs for clients who live on the fast track, specializing in turn-key, concierge-level service delivered in 90 days or less. Denise is transforming the home’s living room and incorporates a sophisticated herringbone patterned floor with our Yin+Yang in Tea Garden.
Talented interior designer and proprietor of the design firm and design shop Bear-Hill Interiors in Little Rock, Arkansas Kevin Walsh is known for his “glamorous yet comfortable style.” Kevin brings elegance to the Savannah showhouse master bath with Crossville’s glossy black Savoy in a creative pattern with just the right trim.
The principal of the Chad James Group, an architectural consulting and design firm in Nashville, Tennessee, Chad James embraces a design philosophy centered on a meticulous approach to quality in design. Chad adds depth to his Southern Style Now design with our Buenos Aires Mood in Malbec—a brilliant choice for a beautiful bath.
Other Southern designers incorporating Crossville tile in their Southern Style Now showhouse designs are Bridget Beari of Bridget Beari Designs in Richmond, Virginia; Meredith Ellis of Meredith Ellis Design in Austin, Texas; Gwyn Duggan of Gwyn Duggan Design Associates, Inc. in Darien, Georgia; and Mary Jo Bochner of Savannah. Please stay tuned as we will be sharing much more from all these designers in the coming weeks!
We recently reached out to Southern Style Now creator Robert Leleux and a few of the showhouse designers to discover how they define Southern Style. See what they had to say in our previously published blog post by clicking here. Be sure to follow Crossville across social media to keep up with all the Southern Style Now happenings along the way!
