The four day event, which begins April 4 in Orlando, attracts 25,000 tile and stone professionals from each segment of the industry who return each year to learn, network, solve challenges, and connect. The show is jam-packed with things to see and do, so make sure to leave room in your schedule for our exciting and educational happenings!
Note – All times listed are Eastern.
In-booth Educational Sessions
This year, we’ll be offering in-booth educational sessions throughout the show! These sessions will be broadcast via Facebook Live, but if you’ll be in Orlando, experience them in person at our booth! Here’s a look at the line-up.
Beyond the Booth Sessions
In addition to the in-booth sessions, Noah Chitty, Crossville’s Director of Technical Services, Robin Rhea, Crossville’s Brand Director, and Irene Williams, owner-principal of Crossville’s PR firm, will be presenting topical sessions hosted by Coverings. Also, VP of Marketing Lindsey Waldrep will represent the North American pavilion in the Tile Trend panel discussion hosted by the show. This will take place on Tuesday, April 4th at 1:30 p.m. at S320E.
Installation Design Showcase – Tiny House Edition
Always a must-see attraction at the show, the live design installation showcase features experienced installers and talented interior designers who partner to demonstrate the harmony between the design and installation processes. The in-the-moment tile and stone installations are fascinating to watch, and this year will be no exception, especially as there is a new twist. The usual vignettes will be replaced by tiny houses!
Three tiny houses will each highlight a different design aesthetic and feature tiles provided from sponsors. The Crossville-sponsored tiny house has been paired with two talents: interior designer Nikki Vega and installer Erin Albrecht, owner of J&R Tile, Inc. We can’t wait to see they magic they will create with their selections of Crossville tile!
On Thursday, April 6 at 3:00pm, there will be an Installation Design Showcase Deconstructed session where the designers and installers will discuss the types of tiles selected from the sponsors, the thought process behind the designs, and the exceptional installation techniques. They promise to leave no tile…or stone…unturned!
The tiny houses will have a home after the show! Adam Money, developer of the a tiny home community, Orlando Lakefront, will be incorporating the homes into his Lakefront Bed & Breakfast.
Dog House Design
The ubiquitous tile bench or cube has truly gone to the dogs this year! Replacing the cube will be a designer doghouse which will be donated to a local rescue organization after the show. Interior designer Mickey Searcy, owner of Interiors by Lawrence David, will be the mastermind behind the design. We can’t wait to see the results, and we’ll certainly be sharing all the details!
