Shades

The color shades / textures of all tiles varies to some degree from piece to piece, from each production run to run. At least several pieces from the same production run should be reviewed whenever possible to determine acceptable color shade/texture. Any questions or concerns about your tile selection should be clarified prior to installation.

V1 = Uniform Appearance
Differences among pieces from the same production run are minimal.

V2 = Slight Variation
Clearly distinguishable differences in texture and/or pattern within similar colors.

V3 = Moderate Variation
While the colors and/or textures present on a single piece of tile will be indicative of the colors and/or textures to be expected on the other tiles, the amount of colors and/or texture on each piece may vary significantly. It is recommended that the range be viewed before selection.

V4 = Substantial Variation
Random color and/or texture differences from tile to tile, so that one tile may have totally different colors and/or texture from that on other tiles. Thus, the final installation will be unique. It is recommended that the range be viewed before selection.

Textures

Unpolished (UPS)
Unpolished with the Cross-Sheen^® finish imparts a subtle glow that enhances the color of the tile and also allows stains and scuff marks to be easily wiped off the surface. Unpolished tiles are appropriate for most interior floors and walls and exterior walls, including high-traffic areas and areas where a low level of maintenance is desired. Unpolished is not recommended for exterior horizontal surfaces or exterior paving unless otherwise noted on that product.

Polished (PO)
Polished Porcelain Stone^® is an attractive and practical alternative to natural stone. Interplay with other surface textures to increase visual interest. Polished finishes are recommended for most interior floors and walls and exterior walls, including areas where a look of elegance ans sophistication is desired. Polished tile is not recommended for exterior horizontal surfaces or exterior paving. Available in Cross-Colors, Buenos Aires Mood, and Empire Series

Cross-Slate^® (CS)
The Cross-Slate^® finish combines the rustic and textured feel of slate with the through-body color and durability of Porcelain Stone^®. Through-body color, unglazed structured surface, and a variety of sizes provide a strong commercial value where enhanced traction is needed for high traffic interior and exterior spaces. Cross-Slate is recommended for interior floors and walls as well as exterior walls and exterior walking surfaces in both residential and commercial environments. Available in the following Cross-Colors^® colors in sizes listed on product page: A233 Sand Bisque, A825 Mercury, A876 Truffle, A750 Brown Tweed, A880 Onyx, A585 Sea Mist, A634 Terra Rosata, A745 Tawny, A675 Stonehenge, A900 Mica, and A850 Graphite.

Crossdot^® (CD)
The raised-dot pattern, with a "roughened" surface atop each dot, provides increased coefficient of friction. It is suitable for most commercial kitchens, food-prep areas, service stations, and other back-of-the-house areas, as well as for exterior walking surfaces. Available in the following Cross-Colors^® colors in sizes listed on product page: A675 Stonehenge, A900 Mica, A790 Burgundy Smoke and A850 Graphite

Cross-Grip^® (CGS)
Developed in conjunction with restaurant owners, Cross-Grip^® is a possible solution for those areas where slips and falls are of greatest concern. The patented raised-point texture has earned Cross-Grip the highest possible performance rating in the National Restaurant Association's testing for slip resistance. It is suitable for areas where grease, food, oil and other residue tend to accumulate. Cross-Tread^® (CTS)
Increased slip resistance and ease of maintenance make this tile a suitable choice for wet and greasy floor areas, as well as for exterior walking surfaces. The Cross-Tread^® surface pattern is eye-catching, making it a great option for transitional areas and for use as an accent tile.
